BIOGRAPHIES

 

Janet Parish-Whittaker is a previous member of the renaissance consort Columbine and Jubilatores. She holds a master's in performance (flute) from UCSD where she studied flute with John Fonville and improvisation with George Lewis. Her works have been performed as far away as Greece and Japan. Her piece Juggernaut with Harry Castle (from the CD Apparatus, available from CDeMusic) was selected for performance at the '98 International Computer Music Conference.








 

David Parish-Whittaker has performed with a number of different early music groups. He is a specialist in the pluck and damp technique necessary to control the unique resonance of the ancient brass strung harp. He is a student of Ann Heymann's, and has studied medieval Welsh technique with William Taylor, President of the International Historical Harp Society.







 

 

Wendy Greene specializes in some lesser known repertoires, such as medieval and renaissance solo song of Spain, works of women composers, and American folk song. Ms. Greene worked for many years in the San Diego Opera Chorus, and is currently on the faculties of San Diego City College and Southwestern College. She received her Master's in voice from New England Conservatory in Boston.
